Avalution provides dynamic impetus for the apparel industry – and the young company will be sharing the Assyst booth in Hall 4.0, C21 at the Texprocess in Frankfurt am Main from May 14 to 17, 2019. Avalution will bring its body scanning and sizing & fitting expertise to Assyst’s booth scenarios that will showcase product development and apparel distribution. Two special highlights – Avalution will be presenting the results of the Size NorthAmerica measurement survey for the first time and also presenting a new body scanner.
Avalution makes human beings digital – and the company makes its unique knowledge of body shapes and dimensions available for product development, enabling companies to orient their products on their target groups in the best way possible. This is particularly valuable for the apparel industry, because the more digitalization progresses and the more 3D simulations increasingly find their way into product development, the more important the integration of the digital human being into the processes becomes. Avalution will be showcasing product development and sales solutions that help to acquire optimal target groups, optimize size & fit and determine sizes.
Avalution creates avatars based on the world’s largest data pool of human body scans. The company also creates individual avatars of a house model by means of body scanning. Avalution also carries out measurement surveys for special target groups and will be presenting an example from the workwear sector at the Texprocess. Last year, for example, Avalution completed an extensive body scanning project with the Luxemburg Army (LINK ARTICLE), which will contribute to improving the size recommendations for recruits and also improve the sizing & fitting of uniforms in the long term. The process developed during the course of the project has already been applied to other workwear projects, including one for an airline and another for hospital clothing.
